TESTING TESTING TESTING
We are testing a new (and hopefully improved) spam filter. The only true way to see if it's working is to leave it up and see if any spam-bots are able to post. We are currently monitoring the forum, so if any spam appears please do not e-mail the site owners, as we will already be on the lookout.

Thank you all so much for your patience, sometimes it takes quite a bit of time and effort to thwart the people writing these programs that try to ruin the experience for everybody. If this last attempt with this version of software does not do the trick, we will be moving on to another platform.

Try holding down the ctrl key and hitting the += key.
This should make the text bigger.

And yes... this isn't the best forum software I've every used to implemented, but it works ;

My motivation is that inner voice saying "If you don't work damn hard you're going to wind up like your old man"....Who, at my age, sat in his easy chair, worried about whether the bird bath was full and whether twist ties had been put on the bread wrappers, grumbled about the news and how silly were the interests of the rest of us.

fortunately I'm beginning an 8th decade have a couple of decades to go before I get to that stage.  THANKS YNY1

KJedging?
I find it a pretty good method of getting to do something positive. like announcing I will do a 150 mile sponsored cycle ride in two days. The cgreat thing I have found with kedging is that some things are complicated, like announcing I was going to take up regatting at age seventy. It means you have to break the goal down into specific steps. In this case getting a handicap for my boat.

My next pretty major Kedge is a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail (aka AT).  Starting mid-March 2011... anyone want to Kedge with me? FitCoachSherry@gmail.com
