Conventional ’fan mail’ sent to the publisher takes forever to reach me. I just opened one, dated May 18 – no author’s name and no address – that was a particular pleasure. I quote the last paragraph; you’ll see why.
”When I started to change my lifestyle (Jan 2011), I weighted almost 230 pounds, was taking two blood pressure pills and 40 mg daily Simvastatin (for cholesterol). During the year, with the full consultation and approval of my physician, I stopped … all three prescription drugs. My blood pressure is great (routinely under 120/80) and cholesterol numbers are great as well…. By December 2011 I had lost 55-60 pounds and now weigh about 170 (the same I weighed almost 50 years ago in college.) I believe Younger Next Year has played a significant role ….”
We get a stunning number of letters like this, but l still love ’em and would like to be able to thank the author. Chris
