At our YNY retreat in Aspen and had a wonderful session on goal setting and some of the barriers to reaching your health and wellness goals. What are some barriers (real or imaginary) that keep you from reaching your health and fitness goals? Just curious. Dr. Klika View

Came across this photo of tennis great Martina Navratilova. I had the opportunity to test Martina at my lab when she was 50. She is a great lady and super fit. She is currently the Health and Fitness Ambassador for the American Association of Retired Persons. The most important thing, she made clear, is that you do something [exercise] every…[Read more]

Good question Renee. Don’t worry If you break up your workouts into 2 or 3 45-60 min sessions. We understand you have a job, life, kids, and other things to get done during the day. If you are getting the time in on a daily basis, the workouts are still beneficial.

Interesting the spread of ages! I had thought that this book was aimed at the over 50 set? Does having members as young as 20 skew the results?? Its so much easier to lose weight in your 20’s & 30”s!

Great to see people getting the books. Let’s get moving!

Here is a tidbit for all those watching calories. The human body uses about a 100 kcals (calories) to walk a 1 mile.

See the chart that fellow beta tester Diane Harvey posted below.
