I am freshly reminded how key it is to have a gym. We suspended our shockingly expensive NYC gym membership for the summer, because we’re away so much. But now, we’re here for a week, and no gym. It is so much harder to get a decent workout without access to a gym. We find other solutions to fill in, but there is no substitute for spin class…for a room full of decent machines…for the discipline of routine. I work out at the apartment with this gadget and that, but it’s small potatoes by comparison. No discipline…no fire. Gotta have a gym. May hate ’em but gotta have ’em.

Any great "no gym" solutions out there? Skipping rope or whatever? Send em in.
