This is familiar stuff but endlessly interesting to me. I am off to Aspen at the end of January for a long ski trip. Through inattention to detail, I will be 73 years old. So I have to do a little more this year to get in shape, if it is to be any fun. I have begun. It is mostly a matter of upping the weight training…especially the legs and core. Lots of the quad press machine…more of the squats. But also a lot of more mobile leg stuff…like wandering around doing lunges – with and without weights. This means some weights three and four days a week for the next two months. Seems worth it.
