There is an almost irresistable temptation in summer to go all-aerobic and skip the weights. I am guilty of it and so is Harry. So are you, I bet. This morning I finally dragged myself off to the gym (because it is raining its brains out up here) and the news was not good. I had clearly lost some strength, even though I have been doing a lot of aerobics. And it aint just lost strength, remember…it’s lost balance, weakened joints and bone loss. So, for god’s sake, go to the gym, even in summer…and do the dear old weights.
