Here’s an interesting thing. Decided, on The Winter Solstice, to more or less give up drinking for a stretch … mostly in connection with the new book (see about impact on sleep and weight loss and so on). Not totally (from zero to one glass of wine a day) but pretty much, by my standards. And certainly not forever. Just give it a shot… see what’s what.
Well… sad to say, the results are rather striking. Biggest one: a huge improvement in how I sleep. Also a slight improvement in my already pretty nice mood. Surprising. Dunno about weitht loss yet but everyone says it matters a lot there.
I am so excited – or, rather, so curious – that I am putting this in a note on the home page too, but I’d be so grateful to hear from anyone who has had experience on this front… see if my experience is representative or weird. Chris
