CORTISONE SHOT

After ten weeks of physical therapy I finally took the uneasy step of getting a cortisone shot for my hip, which, mercifully, is only bursitis and not someting worse.

The shot was interesting. Seemed to work instantly, if not completely. Went off for a 2 and a half hour climb up a mountain on snowshoes right after, with no pain. Wow.

But whatever it is is still there. I am urged to keep up therapy – AND DO SERIOUS STRETCHING – to effect a cure while it does not hurt.

Anyone have any experience with this stuff? Advice?
