*turn back your biological clock


I have done a lot of 40 and 50 mile days, the last few weeks. Then, more recently, I have been a shameful piggy ,,,,eaten and drunk too much and done too little exercise. Here’s some nice news: the conditioning from the longer days does last for a while…a week anyway. Went biking yesterday (21 miles in steep hills) and did fine. I felt strong and my heart beat recovery rates were as high as they go…55 bpm and 50 bpm on two tries. It’s nice to get some forgiveness from your body once in a while.
