Sensationally beautiful bike ride yesterday and – far from home – spotted an aquaintance. Who mentioned that tornado warnings had just been issued. And the sky was turning a bad purple.
Started to make a run for it and then thought: Hey, you’re supposed to be a grown-up now, right? So Iwent up to a couple of guys in a truck (from a company I knew) and got em to let me throw the bike in the back and give me a ride home.
The storm was scary,as advertised. And I am alive. Moral: sometimes you have to be a grownup. i resist it but there you go.
