New York Night

I am in town to see docs. Went fine. Now what? Decide to eat at an outside restaurant. Good idea. Am dressed for rain. Excellent hat. Rain coat and so on. It rains.  Harder than I’ve ever seen in New York. I confess I love it. Fine drinks. Ok meal. Terrifying lightning and thunder. How good does it get? HOW I love it. Alive in New York in time of Covid. Nice. The lightning is scary. The restaurant I start at closes. All waitresses soaked to skin. Fine. Go down street and find braver restaurant folks. Soaking wet despite gear. Love it.  Fine meal. Fine diners soaked at nearby tables. It is a New York night. Like the black out. Excellent. I am designed for such nights.
