Starting on New Years Day, I have been exchanging emails every day with a pal who is trying to drop a few pounds and crank up his exercise. It’s just a few lines a day to say what exercise we actually did and what we ate and drank. Both of us find it a real help.

In the same vein, an old classmate and I have been emailing each other quite a lot about special training for skiing this winter. I am learning some stuff and it is motivating too. Try it.
