Mighty nice out here, as we warm up for the great week.
Yesterday I rode up to the Maroon Bells with trainer and all around star of the upcoming week, Riggs Klika. The whole thing is about 25 miles but the hard part is an 8 mile climb to the lakes (at 10,000 ft)…absolutely beautiful. And the continuing good news is that this goofy program works and that I was able to get my 75 year old body up there in an hour and ten minutes. Not so bad, coming from sea level. And if I were skinnier (Riggs has put me on a killer regimen), it just might be under an hour, my new LIFE GOAL. Chris
