The replacement for the bike that was crushed by a reckless driver finally arrived and it is a rocket ship. Less than 14 lbs, sweet custom paint job and – if you can believe it- electronic shifting.
No one needs electronic shifting – not even an old numero like me. But it is such a pleasure , I doubt if I’ll ever be without it again.

You see it here in the living room in Lakeville where I can show it off. But in fact it works reasonably well on the streets too.
