Thanks so very much to all of you who wrote – as comments on the blog or otherwise – to wish me luck tomorrow with the darned old hip. It is such a kindness and means a lot. No joke.

It is also a huge relief to have this finally on deck. I am so sick of feeling puny in the right hip. Not positive this surgery is going to be a cure-all, but I wouldn’t mind. And I am surely ready to give rehab the full court press. I understand I cannot do any rehab (other than biking with no resistance) until the sutures come out in two weeks. Oh, Lord! Anyhow, we’ll get there. Again, profound thanks. Chris
